Terms of use

1. The service

Rassmi is an intermediary platform that connects online stores with independent phone-confirmation agents, and provides tools to import orders, log calls, carry out contracts and send orders to delivery companies. Rassmi is not a party to the sale between a store and its customer, does not deliver parcels, and does not employ agents.

2. Accounts

• You must be an adult with legal capacity to contract, and give accurate, up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity on your account.
• Store team members sign in with permissions set by the store owner, who is responsible for their actions.

3. Seller obligations

• Sell lawful products, and describe and price them honestly.
• Be entitled to share customer data with agents and delivery companies to confirm and deliver orders.
• Pay the commissions agreed in contracts and keep enough balance in the wallet.

4. Agent obligations

• Work independently and place confirmation calls through the Rassmi app.
• Never confirm an order they have not actually checked with the customer, or record false information.
• Keep customer data confidential and use it only for the order concerned.
• Treat customers and stores with respect.

5. Contracts, commissions and platform fees

The seller and the agent agree on the commission type and amount, and any base salary, in a contract inside the platform. The platform carries out debits and credits as the contract says. It takes from each agent commission a percentage that depends on the agent’s monthly confirmations, and from each released base salary a flat percentage, as shown on the Pricing page. Every contract includes a commission per order, and a base salary must stay within the limits shown on the Pricing page. Sellers pay no platform fee.

6. Stores without an agent and store limits

Rassmi is built for stores that work with confirmation agents. A new account has a starting period to hire a first agent, and a store may then go without an active agent only for a limited number of days, as shown on the Pricing page. Beyond that, the store stops taking new orders and products until an agent’s contract is accepted; existing orders stay available. Each store also has a maximum number of products and of orders per month, shown on the Pricing page, which we may raise on request.

7. The wallet

• The wallet is an in-platform balance for paying commissions and salaries and receiving earnings. It is not a bank account.
• Top-ups go through the online payment provider, and the amount is added once the payment is confirmed.
• Withdrawal requests to the agent’s CCP account are processed at the end of each month after review, and we may hold a suspicious operation until it is checked.

8. Prohibited use

• Creating fake orders, confirmations or calls, or manipulating order statuses.
• Selling products banned by law or using the platform for fraud.
• Scraping platform data, or trying to access accounts or data without permission.
• Contacting store customers for any purpose other than the order concerned.
• Running an agent account for your own store, or arranging token contracts, to get around the store rules.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the platform and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts users at risk, settling any balances due under the contracts and the law.

10. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as is, and we work to keep it running without interruption. We are not responsible for product quality, delivery, customers’ decisions or commercial disputes between a store and an agent, though we commit to helping both sides resolve them.

11. Intellectual property

The “Rassmi” name, its logo, and the platform’s design and software belong to us. Your store’s data remains yours.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Algerian law. The courts of Algiers have jurisdiction over any dispute not settled amicably.

13. Changes

We may change these terms and will let you know in the platform before any important change takes effect. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the updated terms.
